| Exceptionally. The BMW X7's third row is the most spacious of any seven-seat SUV in its class - two six-footers will fit comfortably, which is more than can be said for rivals. Access to the third row is surprisingly easy, and the rearmost seats raise and lower electrically. The boot holds a couple of suitcases even with all seven seats in use, and is simply enormous in five-seat mode, with useful underfloor storage compartments. The split tailgate - with a lower section that flips out as a perch - is a practical bonus for muddy days out. |

| The BMW X7 is available in Excellence, M Sport, M Sport Pro, and M60i trims. Excellence is the entry point - it comes with air suspension, soft-close doors, keyless entry, a panoramic roof, four-zone climate control, heated front seats, a self-parking system, all-round cameras, and BMW's rotary iDrive infotainment as standard. M Sport adds sporty styling and upgraded brakes. M Sport Pro adds a sports exhaust and further styling tweaks.
