Do I get a refund for staying under my mileage limit?

Unfortunately, there are no refunds for staying under your mileage limit.

At the beginning of your van lease, you will have agreed to a set mileage limit. This will be reflected in the cost of your monthly payment because it covers the expected depreciation on your van based on that mileage.

You’ll be charged if you exceed the mileage limit before your lease ends so that the funder can recover the additional depreciation.

It’s best to be as realistic as possible when choosing your annual mileage to avoid any extra costs, or significantly overpaying. Some funders will allow you to change your mileage once during the lease, which will mean your monthly payment will be adjustment accordingly.
