Do I need to pay for road tax on my lease van?

The cost of road tax (otherwise known as Road Fund License) throughout your van's lease term is included at the prevailing rate in all advertised prices.

As the registered keeper of the vehicle, it is the funder's responsibility to tax the van ahead of delivery and annually thereafter. Consequently, no action is required from yourself regarding taxing your new vehicle.

On the rare occasion that a road tax increase applicable to your van occurs after your lease rates are agreed and during your term, you will be liable for this uplift. Your funder will contact you directly if this occurs.

For example, if an increase of £5 per annum is confirmed on your vehicle part way through your lease, your funder will contact you to arrange payment for this in consideration of your outstanding term.
