Do you get money back for being under mileage on a lease?

Unfortunately, you won’t be refunded for staying within your mileage limit.

The mileage limit you picked at the beginning of your lease term is reflected in the cost of your monthly payment because it covers the expected depreciation on your van.

If you go beyond this limit before your van lease ends there is a risk of being charged for the excess mileage so the funder can recover the additional depreciation.

If you think you’ll exceed your mileage limit, talk to your funder. Some will allow you to change your mileage limit once, which will adjust your monthly payment.
