Important: This policy relates exclusively to Vanparison's vehicle procurement services and does not affect your cancellation rights with your lease finance provider.

When fees apply: Fees only apply after you have submitted your signed order form, which serves as formal consent for us to order a vehicle on your behalf. Once we receive your signed authorisation, the resulting vehicle order creates contractual obligations with our supplier network that cannot be reversed without incurring costs.

Scope of Cancellation Fee: While your vehicle order and finance terms are arranged together, our cancellation fee applies solely to the procurement of your vehicle. We will not charge any cancellation fees related to your finance agreement – please consult the terms provided by your finance provider for their specific cancellation policies, including any applicable 14-day cooling off period.

Cancellation fee

A cancellation fee equal to the current arrangement fee will be applicable if you cancel your order. 

If you've already paid the arrangement fee, that payment covers your cancellation fee – you won't be charged again.

A cancellation fee applies per vehicle ordered, not per order.

Partial refunds

You may be offered a partial refund to reward early cancellation, which allows us to minimise the costs involved in returning the vehicle to sale.

Any such offer will be made at our discretion based on the timing and circumstances of your cancellation.

Additional charges

Additional charges may apply if you cancel your order depending on your order history and its status.

Where amendments apply, these charges will be noted on your most recent order form only.

Order amendment charge

If you’ve instructed us to make contractual changes to your order, this will have been subject to a non-refundable amendment charge.

Delivery amendment charge

If you’ve instructed us to make changes to a booked delivery, you will be charged a non-refundable delivery amendment charge.

Trailered delivery charge

If you’ve upgraded from standard driven delivery to trailered delivery, this will be subject to a non-refundable trailered delivery charge.

Special delivery charge

If you’ve upgraded from standard delivery to special delivery, this will be subject to a non-refundable special delivery charge.

Factory build charge

If your order was for a factory order vehicle and that vehicle has already entered production or incurred build charges with the manufacturer, you will be charged the equivalent of two monthly payments as specified in your finance agreement.

Distance delivery charge

As this charge is outside of your immediate control, this charge will be fully refundable.

Exemptions

On rare occasions where a cancellation occurs because a Vanparison or partner fault means the vehicle, or its delivery, is not possible as formally agreed, a cancellation fee will not apply.

In these instances, all applicable fees paid by you will also be returned to you under our standard payment terms of 30 days.

Delivered vehicles

If you have already accepted delivery of your vehicle and wish to discuss returning it, the cancellation policy does not apply.

How do I cancel my order?

If you wish to cancel your order, it’s important you speak to your dedicated agent as soon as possible.

Following your cancellation request, you may be asked to complete an online cancellation form that will be issued by email.

Formal cancellation paperwork, including any fees owed, retained or returned, will be issued once your cancellation has been confirmed.

When do cancellation fees start applying?
Cancellation fees only apply after you've submitted your signed order form. This is the point where we begin ordering your vehicle and enter into binding agreements with our suppliers.
How much is the cancellation fee?
The cancellation fee equals your arrangement fee. If you've already paid the arrangement fee, you won't be charged again - this becomes your cancellation fee.
Can I get any money back if I cancel?
You may be offered a partial refund for early cancellations, depending on timing and circumstances. This is at our discretion and helps us manage the costs of returning your vehicle to sale.
When might I be offered a partial refund?
Partial refunds are typically considered for early cancellations where we can easily return the vehicle to our available stock. The earlier you cancel, the more likely we are to offer some refund.
How quickly should I contact you if I want to cancel?
Contact your dedicated agent as soon as possible. Earlier notification gives us more options to help and may increase the likelihood of a partial refund being offered.
I've made changes to my order - does this affect my cancellation?
Yes. Any amendment charges you've paid (for order changes, delivery modifications, or upgrades) are non-refundable and will be retained accordingly.
Will I know about amendment charges before I'm charged them?
Yes, all amendment charges are clearly noted on your most recent order form before being applied to your account.
What if the cancellation isn't my fault?
If we or our partners can't deliver the vehicle as agreed due to our fault, no cancellation fee applies and all fees paid will be refunded within 30 days.
Does this affect my finance agreement?
No. Our cancellation policy only covers the vehicle procurement service. Your finance provider has separate cancellation terms - check with them directly.
I've already received my car - can I still cancel?
Once you've accepted delivery, the cancellation policy no longer applies. You'll need to follow our vehicle rejection policy instead.
What's the difference between cancellation and rejection policies?
Cancellation applies before you receive your vehicle. Once delivered and accepted, our vehicle rejection policy takes over with different terms and processes.
How do I actually cancel my order?
Contact your dedicated agent immediately. You may need to complete an online cancellation form, and we'll send formal paperwork confirming any fees and refunds.
What about distance delivery charges if I cancel?
Distance delivery charges are fully refundable upon cancellation since this cost is outside of your immediate control, unlike other delivery upgrades you may have chosen.
What if my circumstances change after I've signed?
We understand circumstances can change. While fees still apply, speaking to your agent early may provide more options and allows us to help where possible.
How long does the cancellation process take?
We'll confirm your cancellation and issue paperwork showing any fees owed or refunds due. Refunds are processed under our standard 30-day payment terms.
Can I cancel just part of my order?
This would be treated as an order amendment rather than a cancellation, subject to amendment charges. Contact your agent to discuss partial changes.
Can I cancel before signing the order form?
Yes, you can withdraw at any time before signing your order form without any fees applying.
